Our French A class supports the students in developing the four skills (speaking, listening, writing and reading). For those who will be taking their French exams and need a little extra help to gain confidence. We focus on the students’ needs and will study in depth vocabulary, grammar in line with exam board’s themes and learn about the French society, Francophones countries and contemporary cultural events. We sit mock exams with past papers every term to get them ready!
Pace: 1.5 hours weekly

Students in this course will broaden their knowledge on topics such as the school routine, part-time jobs and day trips with friends. Throughout the term, students will go over a variety of grammar points, including the passé composé and the use of reflexive verbs.

Pace: 1.5 hours weekly

This term, our students will discuss key GCSE topics such as the environment and general global issues. Grammar points will focus on using the conditional and the future tense, complex negative sentences, and making hypothesis.

Additional Pre-GCSE class! As the expression goes, “there is no place like home”! Throughout the term, our students will learn to talk about where they live, to describe their house and their hometown, but also to indicate directions. They will also learn how to describe their daily routine using reflexive verbs and talk about daily chores.
