This term will be the opportunity for them to work on expressions of taste, and to go over the present tense of verbs such as manger and boire. Your child will even be able to order their favourite food at the restaurant at the end of this term!

This term, the “me, myself and I” expression will take on its full meaning! Our students will learn how to describe themselves and their close family, using descriptive words and quantity adverbs. They will express their personal likes and dislikes, and discuss hobbies.

Give your child a magical and delicious Christmas experience with this festive French workshop! Through fun and creative activities, children will (re)discover Christmas vocabulary while enjoying themselves. They will learn to build simple, useful sentences connected to a festive recipe they’ll make themselves, while exploring the names of basic ingredients.
Throughout the session, children will also dive into the world of French Christmas traditions—customs, treats, and festive spirit included! A warm and engaging experience to learn French in a joyful way, spark cultural curiosity… and leave with sweet holiday memories. 🎄✨

MONDAY | LITTLE CHEFS DAY | Become a patisserie chef for the day. Learn how to read a recipe in French, and make your own delicious treat!
TUESDAY | ART TRAIL AT THE ASHMOLEAN | Our little art detectives will discover French painters on the custom-designed art trail and create their own art work. 
WEDNESDAY | PORT MEADOW FLORA DISCOVERY DAY | Botanists for a day, our group will head to Burgess Mead to identify, collect and create artwork with wildflowers (subject to change depending on weather)
THURSDAY | NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM DAY | An exciting trip to the Oxford Museum of Natural History to discover intriguing facts about animals and their habitat, all in French.
FRIDAY | SPORTS DAY | Our little linguists will head to Aristotle Lane Park for traditional French games (subject to change depending on weather)
