Exhibition | Entente Cordiale 120th anniversary


When Marianne and Britannia Meet 

In partnership with the UK’s National Archives and the French Diplomatic Archives, the Institut français du Royaume-Uni created When Marianne and Britannia Meet, an exhibition marking the 120th anniversary of the Entente Cordiale, that Oxford will host from the 8th of April.

The exhibition is tracing the history of the Entente Cordiale agreements and their global repercussions, the exhibition brings together for the first time, or reunites, a rchives of great historical and symbolic significance.

We have the pleasure of hosting this exhibition in partnership with the City Council of Oxford and the Oxford-Grenoble Association. The exhibition will open on the 8th of April and will be displayed in Oxford Centre.
An opening ceremony will start at 1.15pm, with members from the City Council, the Oxford-Grenoble Association and the Alliance Française d'Oxford.
